     Estherwood Mansion, The Masters School, 49 Clinton Avenue, Dobbs Ferry.  Home can be both an inspiration and a place to leap from. Join us as we talk with Ed Young, Jerry Pinkney and Peter Sís about their creative journeys and how the many facets of "home" inspires them. Conversations are moderated by PBS Arts Correspondent Christina Ha.

  • February 23, 2013 Hubbs Childrens Literature Conference. Barbara DaCosta  will lead a session on "Story and Picture: How a Picture Book is Developed" How does an idea for a story blossom into words and become married to pictures? What are the steps in the process? What challenges come along the way? DaCosta will share drafts, dummies, and early complete versions of Nighttime Ninja.
